Melbourne - Horticultural Labourers
Flavorite Hydroponic Tomatoes requires 200 horticultural labours to maintain plants in glasshouses in various locations in Victoria such as Mansfield, Tatura, Katunga and Warragul.
Nine months of work is expected to commence in March 2025. No previous experience is necessary. Candidates should be motivated and be able to learn quickly and work with accuracy. Work is in hot and humid conditions, at heights, doing repetitive tasks. Candidates must not be colour blind or get motion sickness. Duties include:
- Picking and packing of produce
- De-leafing plants
- Crop work such as pruning, clipping and lowering
Successful candidates will be required for a start between 6-7am, working individually and in teams. Candidates must be available Monday to Friday and work some public holidays and weekends. Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis under Horticultural Award 2020, level 1 and will be provided with approximately 30 hours of work per week and be available for additional hours per week where required.
