THE ROLE

HCK is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic primary teacher with a commitment to creating an engaging and enriching learning environment. The position commences in January 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a personal faith and commitment to the Lord

Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith.

Heritage College pays above award wages. Relocation packages are available for the

successful applicant.

SELECTION CRITERIA

-VIT Accreditation or eligibility to gain approval to teach K-6 in Victoria, Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy.
  • Good knowledge of the Bible and capacity to deliver Bible Studies.
  • Capacity to support student wellbeing and the College’s Christian values.
  • Skills to create a positive and purposeful learning environment with a sound understanding of behavioural management strategies that promote learning.
  • Ability to modify programs to provide an engaging differentiated program to meet the needs of a range of learning needs.
  • Willingness to contribute to whole school and extracurricular activities, including camps and college events, in order to promote a positive culture within the college.
