Asbestos Technician

They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Asbestos Technician to join their team in Balcatta, WA 6021. This is an excellent opportunity where hard work is recognized and rewarded.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct asbestos surveys and assessments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Collect and analyse samples to identify the presence of asbestos.
- Safely remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials following established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment for asbestos removal and disposal.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of all asbestos-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project status and findings.
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a team and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
