Expression of Interest - Proposition Strategy Manager
WooliesX has grown significantly in scale, breadth & complexity over the last few years and is a key part of the Woolworths Group.
As WooliesX has grown there is a need for the connections between WooliesX and the component parts of the Woolworths Group ecosystem to also strengthen and grow.
In this role in our eCom Food business, you will lead the strategy for the newly formed Propositions squad for WooliesX. Our customer propositions are a core component of our broader Customer Value Proposition and underpin our core foundations in delivering customers convenience and value.These propositions are one of the main touch points in how customers interact with us (eg. Direct to Boot, Delivery Now) - they help customers choose the best way to interact with Woolworths to get a great service/experience that is aligned to their shopping mission.
You will be responsible for building the forward view on how we evolve our proposition design and lead the strategy for deeper engagement with our propositions, that demonstrate value to shareholders and customers alike.
You will work closely with analytics teams to understand our customers behaviours and insights, with finance and commercial teams to evaluate and optimise proposition profitability, and the broader product, marketing and operations teams to bring these to life for our customers.You will also work closely with the Subscriptions Tribe to optimise customer experience, value perception, and operational & commercial outcomes for members and subscribers, as well as working closely with other parts of the group (eg. Milkrun) to create logical, seamless experiences for customers and store teams.
You will demonstrate the key WooliesX values of Connect, Collaborate & Co-Create to forge stronger and mutually productive relationships. You will have the ability to influence key stakeholders within WooliesX and other parts of the Woolworths Group and input into broader Tribe deliverables.
As a core member of the Squad, Tribe and also the Food eCom Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in building the strategy for the team and effectively engaging with senior stakeholders to maximise the positive impact that we have on behalf of WooliesX.
You will also have a broader influence beyond Food eCom business unit to link in with other BU leads and Tribe leads across eComX, specifically within Operations, eCom Fulfilment and Future Network & HomeRun and will work on key growth projects, in addition to operating as a trusted partner and thought leader in your areas of expertise.
What you'll bring : We’re looking for someone who can establish strong relationships with senior managers with the ability to influence and engage. You are dedicated and results focused with a customer first mindset.
4+ years of experience with minimum 2 years experience in a top tier strategy consultancy, investment bank or corporate strategy team Outstanding academic record and social achievements Demonstrated deep experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, project and change management Superb written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation Analytics and quantitative modelling Consumer market experience and retail experience is an advantage
