Job Description
Reporting into the General Manager for Finance, this role will play an integral role in supporting the company's data analysis and reporting. Key duties and tasks will include:
- Completion of monthly financial accounting
- Cost and variance analysis
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Preparation of reporting backs
- Financial system development
- Support GM Finance in managing allocated projects
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for operations
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must possess a CA/CPA qualification, with a prior background working in a commercial accounting environment. Key traits will also include:
- Background working in surface mining environment (desired)
- Prior Management Accounting or Project Accounting background
- SAP system experience (desired)
- Ability to meet competing deadlines and work in a dynamic team environment
