Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This full-time role, based in the vibrant heart of Docklands, offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking software development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze client requirements in detail by working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding and translation of these needs into functional software designs.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, implementing and adhering to policies that enhance efficiency and quality of our products.
- Perform extensive software testing across various stages—database, functional, non-functional, and automation—to ensure robustness and error-free performance of web-based applications.
- Document all phases of the software development lifecycle, crafting detailed test plans, scenarios, use cases, and reports that support project transparency and stakeholder communication.
- Lead the quality assurance process, prepare essential software lifecycle documents, and perform audits to uphold the highest standards of software development.
- Facilitate and lead client meetings to foster clear communication and understanding of project requirements, ensuring all user stories and product functionalities are agreed upon.
- Serve as a team leader, coordinating tasks, guiding the team, resolving queries, and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
- Act as a critical liaison among the development team, business analysts, and clients to ensure seamless integration and communication across all phases of project development.
- Manage software deployment across environments, coordinate release schedules, and conduct demo sessions for clients to showcase new features and updates per sprint.
Work Hours: This is a full-time position, typically involving 38 hours per week.
Qualifications:- Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
- An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a related field is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
