What you'll do:
As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting our client's digital assets. You will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud security policies using various CSPM tools. Your role will involve regular assessment of the security posture of public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.You will also ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements through continuous monitoring and reporting. Collaborating with system administrators and development teams will be key to validating, documenting, and remediating vulnerabilities identified in cloud environments.
- Implement and manage cloud security policies using CSPM tools like Conformity, Prisma Cloud etc.
- Regularly assess and analyze the security posture of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements through continuous monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with system administrators and development teams to validate, document, and remediate vulnerabilities identified in cloud environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across Kubernetes, containers, serverless functions, and cloud-native applications.
- Utilize tools like Crowdstrike, Github Enterprise, Tenable Nessus etc. to identify, prioritize, and address vulnerabilities in cloud systems and code.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Cloud Security Specialist position will bring a wealth of knowledge in the field of cloud security. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security or a related field under your belt, you will have proven experience focusing on CPSM and VM.Relevant certifications such as CCSK or CCSP are highly valued. A strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure or GCP is essential for this role. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be collaborating with various teams within the organisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security or a related field.
- Proven experience in cloud security with a focus on CPSM and VM.
- Certified in relevant certifications such as CCSK, CCSP or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and cloud security (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
