• Provision of quality education and care to meet the individual and group needs of all children
• Planning and implementation of a vibrant, interesting and developmentally appropriate curriculum including observations and reflections
• Ensure that the philosophy, policies and procedures of the Service are upheld and implemented to meet relevant requirements
• Creating and maintaining collaborative and respectful partnerships with children, families, colleagues and all stakeholders
• Contribution to a safe, clean and positive work environment
• Contribution to the centres Quality Improvement Plan

• Detailed knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework including the Law, Regulations and National Quality Standards
• Must hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), with experience leading a variety of age groups including a kindy environment.
• The ability to contribute to a harmonious, professional and positive work culture
• Excellent communicator with parents, staff and senior management, both verbal and written
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
• Current Working With Children Check and First Aid

• Knowledge and experience using Story Park
• Proficient with modern technology
• Demonstrates initiative
• Ability to bring forward new initiatives/ideas
