  • champion a culture of continuous enhancement by identifying and sharing best practices across all areas; and
  • engage actively with the Quality Team and the broader Governance and Risk Management Team to advance our collective goals.

About you

Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives on making a significant impact in fostering and promoting quality assurance. If you’re passionate about driving continuous improvement and contributing to a robust system of academic quality and compliance, we’d love to see how you can bring your expertise and enthusiasm to our team.

You will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of government frameworks and legislation shaping higher education quality and standards, including the Australian Qualifications Framework, TEQSA Act 2011, and HESF.
  • A solid understanding of university governance, operations, and decision making processes, with the ability to see how legislation, policies, and plans connect to daily actions and outcomes.
  • Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulations and communicate their impact clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Skilled at researching, identifying, and adapting best practices for quality improvement and assurance across the university.
  • Confident in using sound judgement to handle sensitive compliance matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to consult, influence, and work across various levels and areas of the organisation.
