Cooks & Chefs [ Lamrock Cafe ]

Our client, Pontidas Capital Pty Ltd, trading as Lamrock Café, is currently seeking passionate and experienced Cooks and Chefs to join their busy venue located in Bondi, NSW 2026.

Multiple full-time positions are available, offering a competitive salary package ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation, negotiable for the right candidates.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for both regular service and special events.
• Plan production schedules and determine staffing requirements to ensure timely service delivery.
• Estimate quantities and costs of food and supplies.
• Inspect food, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety practices in line with WHS and HACCP guidelines.
• Develop and cost recipes and menus based on seasonal ingredients, customer demand, and business overheads.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and introduce new menu items.
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
• Maintain clean, organised workstations and ensure equipment is ready for use.
• Assist other team members when required and uphold a strong team culture.

• Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Cook or Chef.
• Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations, food safety, and WHS protocols.
• Flexibility to work split shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to relocate if based interstate or in another city.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
