We are currently seeking Meat Workers to join our team full-time. The successful candidates will be responsible for various meat processing tasks, including inspecting and grading of meat and meat products and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:Inspecting and grading meat and meat products to customer specifications. This involves but is not limited to:
- Regular bending/lifting and repetitive movements
- Understand and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Read and understand safety rules
- Excellent hand, foot, and eye coordination for carrying out daily tasks.
- Separate, inspect and assess organs
- Inspect, assess and move carcasses
- Operate machinery/equipment when required
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required. Though this may change from time to time
- Payrates are as per Award MA000059 at Level 2 & 3
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Current Driver's License
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
- Q Fever vaccination or willingness to participate in the vaccination process.
