Working with us at People First Bank as a Member Relationship Consultant , you will be empowered to have meaningful conversations with our members- to understand their financial position, goals and aspirations, and help align our products and services to their needs.

You will specialise in personal loans, credit cards and insurance, in this prime Melbourne CBD location! This role is expected for commencement in January 2025!

About the role

You will work with our members to encourage them to embrace technology and support them in an increasingly digital future.

You will be empowered to:

  • Manage the end- to-end for personal loan applications
  • Help our members by being a 'guru' on products and services
  • Make it easy for our members to bank with us
  • Refer members onto our home loan specialists or financial planners
  • Empower our members to use our digital services
  • Display second to none service that is timely and accurate

This position will be offered for the Collins Street Branch, on a permanent part-time basis, offering 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday, 9:00am- 4:30pm. You will be provided with comprehensive training when you commence in the role, with ongoing coaching to support your success in the position.

About You

You are passionate about customer service and delivering the best possible experience for your customers. You work with a sense of purpose and urgency, and thrive in a busy and high-pressure environment, while working towards set targets and deadlines.

You bring with you strong experience working with different systems, and experience working in a role that calls for accuracy and high attention to detail. You feel comfortable applying sound logic, judgement and reasoning when trouble shooting enquiries, and take a proactive approach to your ongoing learning and development.

Previous experience in banking and lending is desired, but not essential to be successful in this position.
