Job Description- Process pays and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Liaise with the HR department to ensure all payroll data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and submit reports on payroll activities to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
- Handle all payroll-related queries from staff members.
- Maintain updated records of payroll procedures and any changes in rates or legislation.
- Assist with the annual audit process by providing relevant payroll information.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- Proficiency in payroll software and other financial management systems.
- Strong numerical skills and an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- A good understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
- The ability to work well in a team and independently.
- An attractive salary between $80'000 - $90'000 per year plus superannuation
