The Data Center Services Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing supplier workforce administration and reporting, supplier on boarding, and compliance management. Including centralized reporting on supplier performance , productivity and sourcing efficiency.

The role provides opportunity to develop skills in supply chain reporting and operations, interfacing with service suppliers and procurement managers across APAC. After learning the core functions, the role offers a growth opportunity to work with Data Center Capacity Delivery teams to create and implement programs that increase value for AWS customers through its suppliers.

Key job responsibilities

Creating mechanisms to manage the external Network Cabling service supplier workforce administration, including on boarding , off boarding and capacity reporting.
Manage services supplier on boarding qualifications.
Centralized reporting on supplier performance for the team utilizing end of project score cards (Inclusive of safety , security , quality , on time deliver and pricing KPI's)
Report on the team procurement efficiency metrics such of rate cards and bulk awards.

Drive insights for the service supplier stakeholders to create and implement programs that increase value for AWS customers and strengths its supplier relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain , Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an supplier management, supply chain or a procurement function.
  • Experience collecting and analyses supply chain data and reporting to multiple stakeholders monthly.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to work independently. - 2 + years experience in data centers, engineering, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.
  • Experience collecting and communicating market intelligence data, including commodity trends and labor indexes to drive insights.
  • Experience working with procurement processes systems and tools.
  • Ability to deep dive and develop innovative ideas for process challenges.
