Full-Time Bricklayer in Seven Hill NSW 2147.
AFM Construction Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. We work across various residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality construction services tailored to our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work from plans and specifications to determine required materials, measurements, and installation procedures
- Pre-cut, cut, shape, and lay bricks, blocks, masonry, and other materials to construct, raise, or reform walls, arches, fences, and other structures
- Ensure all alignments are level, plumb, and structurally sound
- Use machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and polish materials to fit irregular spaces
- Mix and pour concrete, plaster, and mortar, and apply as required to complete jobs according to specifications
- Construct and dismantle scaffolding in compliance with site safety requirements
- Repair and maintain brickwork, including clay bricks, cement blocks, and other masonry structures
- Secure foundations using moisture-resistant materials to ensure structural durability
- Perform general labouring tasks and assist with various brickwork and site preparation as required
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bricklaying or masonry
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor environments
- Understanding of worksite health and safety practices
