Platform Services Manager

Join us as a Platform Services Manager at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, on our CTO Team in Australia to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As a Platform Services Manager you will be part of our CTO Team; utilising your skills and experience, you will be responsible for the ongoing Product management, development and delivery of our cloud-based Platform Service that will span across multiple products/ offerings, including managed services to our customer base:

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Work with senior stakeholders within Dedalus to define the product strategy for Dedalus Platform Services, and their continued evolution
  • Manage the product lifecycle (including roadmap) for our cloud delivered business from ideation to release. This includes contributing to specific product roadmaps to ensure alignment between product and platform services, writing user stories with/for the various teams,
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders such as product (software) development, application and technical support in order to streamline processes, deliver operation efficiency and to evolve the platform(s).
  • Plan and coordinate product releases, including feature launches, updates, and maintenance releases for Dedalus Platform Services. Ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption to customers.
  • Monitor key product metrics and KPIs related to service availability, usage, performance, and customer satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimizations.
  • Manage the core ITIL processes and ensuring that they are embedded at the heart of our Platform Services and service operations.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to the services and customer satisfaction. Proactively address challenges to ensure smooth operations and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, and training materials to support customers and internal teams in effectively using and understanding the Platform services.
  • Work with the CTO Group Security function to ensure that the Dedalus Platform Services comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the product development process, incorporating feedback, optimizing workflows, and adopting best practices in agile product management.

Within Dedalus, we collectively refer to this new offering as our “Dedalus Platform Services.”

Essential Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent understanding of product lifecycle management, from ideation and requirements gathering to release management and post-launch analysis.
  • Ability to create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritise features, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Presentation skills to effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress related to Dedalus Platform Services.
  • Ability to lead without authority, influence stakeholders, and inspire cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • 5+ years working in or ideally leading a cloud services team.
  • A solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). Familiarity with cloud architectures, deployment models (public, private, hybrid), and cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in working with ITIL processes within a services based context.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to measure product performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Familiarity with metrics such as usage analytics, conversion rates, churn rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve product goals.
Desirable Requirements
  • Formal ITIL Certification
  • Experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, agile methodologies, and project management (ideally in a healthcare setting).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and security considerations related to cloud services, ensuring products meet compliance standards and maintain robust security measures.
