3P Transport Program Manager, 3P Transportation

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging business at Amazon. This role will help to ensure our delivery promises to our customers are fulfilled on time and that we continuously improve Amazon Australia’s delivery experience on behalf of our customers.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives with carrier, fulfillment center, technical, customer service and retail teams. This leader will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting both daily execution activities and large, complex and cross-functional projects.

Key job responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day interactions between Amazon and our transportation partners to improve capacity, quality, speed and cost.
Analyze and review transportation metrics to bridge performance misses and identify/execute actions to improve performance.
Participate in weekly business reviews with internal teams and external transportation partners.
Coordinate and communicate transportation forecasts with external partners to ensure sufficient capacity.
Review and manage transportation escalations, identifying and implementing corrective actions where required.
Work with internal stakeholders to improve customer experience in Last Mile
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
