Associates Sales Manager

Key Accountabilities
- Grow Vestas' relationship with customers, develop solutions to meet their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Project and coordinate the sales process throughout the bidding process, ensuring timely passage through the stages of the sales process
- Coordinate tenders and negotiations - supporting the team to close on contracts within targets for revenue and margins
- Mobilise, and supervise the extended sales team consisting of core internal functions
- Technical implementation of cross-functional reporting processes for sales pipeline and opportunities.
Experience: (Types of experiences expected or required to successfully carry out the position, e.g. specific industry experience)
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, product management, business, law, or finance.
- 2+ years of commercial or project management experience, ideally within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure, or the construction industry
- Experience with commercial negotiations
- Experience working in a complex organisation selling large-scale projects
- Experience in international organizations, preferably with additional language skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft VBA and BI reporting, including ability to plan projects, delegate tasks and proactively monitor progress in these tools
- SAP expert level user
- Visual communication skills, with business understanding, to convert sales data and calculated values to taper messaging externally and within the organisation
- Technical and economic understanding of energy systems
- Wind market supply chain understanding
- Strong business insight, strategic capabilities with commercial understanding and deal-making capabilities
- Excellent collaborator - willing to learn and develop, attain high integrity and credibility
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Interested in working across cultures and fostering a supportive team environment
- Passion for renewable energy and the energy transition.

- English, additional languages will be considered as a bonus due to the international nature of the company
- Commitment to honesty, confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to travel within Australia
