People Operations Advisor

As the People Operations Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to our diverse blue and white-collar workforce at the Fulfilment Centre in Altona North (VIC 3025). Working closely with the People & Culture team, you will ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards while fostering a productive and engaging work environment.
Your Role:
- Develop and update HR policies to align with labour laws and best practices.
- Manage casual recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Support employee relations by addressing conflicts and promoting communication.
- Assist in creating performance improvement and individual development plans.
- Ensure HR activities comply with legal requirements and prepare reports.
- Collaborate on HR-related projects and lead People & Culture initiatives for your site.
Requirements
This is you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google suite use (sheets, docs, slides, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of attention to detail.
