Overview

Located in Heathwood, Queensland, Heathwood Chilled and Frozen Distribution Centre (HCFDC) is the latest distribution centre being added to the Woolworths Supply Chain network. Heathwood will enable fresher, faster and more efficient deliveries of around 4,000 frozen and chilled products to more than 260 stores across Queensland and northern New South Wales.

The role of a team member plays an integral role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers, Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. The position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that the goods are dispatched in a timely manner.
Your commitment and advocacy for our purpose of “connecting communities with the products they need and love” will drive the success of the DC.

Key responsibilities may include a combination of any of the following:

 •  Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner
 •  Assembling and packaging stock appropriately for despatch
 •  Operating industrial equipment in accordance to Occupational Health and Safety requirements
 •  Despatch and receiving as required by operation and business needs
 •  Housekeeping
 •  Working in various temperature controlled environments including freezer

To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:

 •  Forklift licence whilst not essential will be highly regarded, with experience operating various forklifts including high reach and counterbalance
 •  A passion for providing the best customer service experience
 •  Focus on working end to end as one team
 •  Ability to work under pressure to meet replenishment targets
 •  Capacity to work in a physically demanding role
 •  Numeric reasoning
 •  Proficient written and verbal communication
 •  Abide by company policies and procedures
 •  Ability to be able to work a flexible roster
 •  Comply with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
