Multimedia Specialist
The Client:
Brandstand Downunder Pty Ltd is a creatively minded company, with founders from engineering, design, marketing, and media backgrounds. They distribute BrandStand® International display products in Australia. They are looking for an experienced Multimedia Specialist to join their team.
The Role:
The position for hire is a Multimedia Specialist and will be for a full time basis between $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation depending on experience and will be based in Smithfield, NSW.
The Responsibilities:
Creating and editing visual and audio content for digital marketing campaigns
Designing engaging graphics, animations and layouts for social media, websites and print through the use of multimedia tools, software and programming languages
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop multimedia strategies that align with brand goals
Producing promotional and instructional videos for product launches and exhibitions
Design engaging multimedia assets for the website by merging creative artistry with advanced technical skills.
Utilize a variety of scripting languages and software tools to ensure optimal functionality and compatibility across diverse platforms and devices.
Managing the company’s digital asset library and ensuring consistent brand visuals
Updating and maintaining content on the company website using CMS platforms
Creating interactive media elements for trade shows, events and product demonstrations
Developing storyboards and concepts for multimedia projects
Operating cameras, audio equipment and editing software during content production
Ensuring all multimedia output meets technical and creative quality standards
Researching current multimedia trends to keep designs fresh and relevant
Liaising with external vendors and contractors for specialised media production
Preparing multimedia presentations and proposals for client pitches
Collaborate with network specialists to address web security challenges, optimize hosting solutions, manage server storage efficiently, control user access effectively, and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Design and implement backup plans and disaster recovery protocols to safeguard web servers.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to multimedia equipment and software
The Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study
Minimum 1 years of experience in multimedia design, digital content creation or a similar role
At least 1 years of experience with video production, editing, and motion graphics
At least 1 years of experience with HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript
Minimum 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers and marketers
Minimum 1 year proficiency in full Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
Ability to design and develop interactive media for websites, social platforms and digital events
Ability to manage and optimise digital assets for various platforms and devices
Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-platform compatibility
Experience troubleshooting multimedia software and hardware issues
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and how multimedia supports brand objectives
A solid understanding of visual communication and brand consistency
Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and how multimedia supports audience engagement
