To support its growing hospitality operations, the Club is seeking experienced and experienced Cooks and Chefs to join the team in full-time roles at its Biloela venue. These positions are ideal for passionate culinary professionals who thrive in a community-driven environment and are committed to delivering high-quality meals with consistency and care.A competitive annual salary between AUD 70–80K plus superannuation is on offer, with flexibility for the right candidates. Scope of the Work:- The day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen, including delegating staff, stock rotation and relevant paperwork.
- Prepare and cook foods of all types, either regularly or for special guests or functions.
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure the timely delivery of services.
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
- Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items based on food, labour, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with other personnel to execute the menu, considering factors such as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers.
- Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) AND HACCP
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
- Preparing and ensuring a regulated oven, utensils, and grill for the shift
- Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
- Train junior staff to uphold the standard of the venue and maintain operational efficiency.
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Preferably have Certificates III & IV in Commercial Cookery
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Have at least 2- 3 years of work experience as a Cook/Chef.
- Ability to work in a team.
