Job Description

Copywriting: Develop compelling and persuasive content for brochures, catalogues, and other marketing collateral to effectively communicate our product offerings.

Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products to highlight their features and benefits accurately in all marketing materials.

New Product Development (NPD): Partner with the technical writer on NPD projects, ensuring that marketing materials are cohesive and effectively support product launches.

Website Maintenance: Manage website maintenance and updates, working with external marketing agencies to ensure our online presence is current and engaging. Oversee dealer searches on the website and ensure our products are listed on key platforms such as Total Tools, Sydney Tools, and Mitre 10.

Brochure and Catalogue Overhaul: Lead the redesign and update of brochures and catalogues, ensuring they align with the style guide provided by our overseas supplier.

Social Media Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the Facebook pages for both the Glenco and Westinghouse brands, ensuring consistent and engaging content.

Email Marketing (EDMs): Manage email marketing activities related to new product development, price adjustments, and modifications, ensuring timely and effective communication with our audience.

External Coordination: Coordinate with external marketing and website agencies to implement necessary changes and updates, ensuring alignment with our marketing strategy.

Video Production & Photoshoot Coordination: Manage photoshoots and coordinate with the graphic designer to produce high-quality visual content.

Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team, which includes eight area managers nationwide, to provide customised flyers and direct marketing support that drives sales efforts.

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience:

  • Consumer & Industrial Products: Demonstrated experience in marketing consumer and industrial products.
  • Wholesale Sector: Significant experience in the wholesale business sector.

Additional Skills:

  • Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and strategy.
  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
  • Experience in managing and updating website content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
