• Assist Chefs for preparing and cooking seasonal, high-quality ingredients according to Modern Australian and European culinary styles.
• Prepare gravies and sauces to complement the food available on the Menu according to our restaurant standards.
• Managing kitchen stations and cooking multiple dishes at once, especially for the group menu.
• Assist with the plating, portioning and presentation of food in a pleasing manner.
• Understand and demonstrate the cooking techniques for different food items like appetizers, main course, sides and desserts that are offered in the restaurant.
• Ability to use various cooking equipment such as grills, oven, knife, pan, fire and other tools safely ensuring the food is prepared at the right temperature and label.
• Ensuring dishes are prepared to meet dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver high-level customer service.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

• Australian C-IV equivalent qualification in Cookery or Kitchen Management
• 1-2 Year of work experience as Cook in commercial kitchen
• Have the ability to learn and grow within the business
• Must be committed to working for a reasonable timeframe
