As an Automotive Technician at David Ekberg Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles, as well as other classic and modern cars. Qualifications and Experience Requirements:- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with luxury or classic vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software specific to Rolls-Royce and Bentley models.
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards within the automotive industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Diagnose and identify faults in engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, engine tune-ups, and system lubrications.
- Dismantle and inspect engine assemblies, steering mechanisms, and transmissions to detect issues.
- Repair or replace worn and defective parts, referencing service manuals as necessary.
- Reassemble mechanical components and engines post-repair, ensuring proper functionality.
- Test and adjust vehicle systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with relevant pollution control and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each vehicle serviced.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding vehicle maintenance and care.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Collaborate with team members to address and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic equipment and software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
