Communication and Community Internship for a Fintech Startup

By removing the regulatory complexity of investor onboarding, structuring and ongoing operations, the client can concentrate on the most essential task of fuelling start-ups and delivering value to their investors
- By building a B2B Fintech/Regtech Platform and leveraging technology, our client’s goal is to provide a seamless end-to-end solution to go hand in hand with the modern pace
Responsibilities:
- Communication & Content Creation: Write engaging, authentic content for LinkedIn, newsletters, and articles to build awareness and connect with the community. Assist in managing and engaging with the community across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop Communication Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to shape and execute a content plan that reflects our client’s brand values
- Community Building: Attend industry events and network in the startup ecosystem, becoming a visible part of the community around our client’s ventures
- Networking & Outreach: Build meaningful relationships with founders, investors, and community leaders, contributing to our client’s network
- Startup Engagement: Get involved in the startup scene, join relevant conversations, and help amplify our client’s mission across the Australian startup community. Monitor community feedback and report relevant insights to the team
- Reporting: Assist in collecting and analysing data to measure the effectiveness of community activities

- 6 months internship
- Open to part-time of at least 3 days
- Start date: mid-January
- Must be based in Sydney, Australia
- In-office working model (office located in Sydney CBD)
- Monthly allowance provided to cover expenses
Requirements
About You:
- Currently in final year or has recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- Interest in finance or prior experience in related field would be ideal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Creative mindset and a passion for building relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Startup mindset to grow along with the team
