Support Worker - Disability and Aged Care (includes sleepover)

$35 – $45 per hour

ATN Home Care Services is a provider of care services for both the Aged and Disabled. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide individuals in need with compassionate and professional care and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work for individuals with dementia.

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help individuals with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
• Maintain accurate records of services provided
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals

• Cert III in Individual Support
• Previous working experience for individuals with dementia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Satisfactory National Police Check valid within 12 months.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Must have own road worthy vehicle and full, Australian Driver license .

• A current First Aid certification (or the ability to acquire one).
• HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication (desirable, but not required).
