About The Role:
Do you feel like taking your technical skills to the next level and share your knowledge and expertise with the next generation? If so, then this is the role for you! Bendigo Kangan Institute is currently seeking a passionate Teacher for Vehicle Painting Technology to join our team in Docklands.

We will accept applicants who are currently enrolled or willing to enrol in the free TAFE Cert IV Training and Assessment course and can offer full support and guidance throughout your journey.

We have one of the strongest apprenticeship and Certificate III programs in Victoria, offering a diverse range of Automotive Body Repair skill sets to prepare students for the current dynamic Autobody Industry.
Working in our state-of-the-art Automotive Centre of Excellence as well as delivering in the students' workplace, you will deliver quality vocational education and training, and conduct competency-based assessments in a range of environments.

You will have access to world-class facilities, workshop spaces with water and solvent base systems to complement current OEM repair procedures.

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Familiar with current painting products and techniques including rapid paint procedures.
  • Currently studying (or willing to enrol into Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and complete within two years)
  • OR have a completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Good computer skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Word
  • An ability to work cohesively in a team
