The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced part-time Management Accountant, who will be responsible for the delivery of the financial reporting for a high-profile organisation based on Melbourne's northern CBD fringe.

The organisation is highly recognised throughout Victoria and has an established and high-performing finance team. You will be responsible for the organisation's financial processes and financial reporting.

If you have several years' experience in a similar role and are immediately available, this would be a great opportunity for you.

The Role

Reporting to the organisation's Finance Manager your duties will include:

Timely & accurate month-end and year-end reporting
Production of all accounting reports
Complex reconciliations
Revenue reporting
Budgeting, forecasting
Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards
Grant management and acquittals
Management reporting
Ensuring all financial management systems (including governance policies, procurement policies, risk management and statutory compliance) are in place and adhered to

This position is moving quickly and is perfect for anyone seeking a with an immediate start.

This role is for a period of six months.

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role and be able to take ownership of the accurate & timely production of the organisation's accounting reports.

Proven financial accounting experience
Knowledge of accounting principles
