Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security systems, networks, and applications for potential vulnerabilities and security breaches.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are integrated into the infrastructure and systems.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis, recommending remediation actions, and implementing security measures to prevent future incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for security improvements.
  • Perform risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security consciousness.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of security projects, including the deployment of new security technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage security incidents and implement appropriate security measures.
  • Maintain documentation related to security procedures, incidents, and risk assessments
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience working as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, concepts, and technologies.
  • Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, firewall technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Proficient in incident response methodologies and security incident management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
