Production Engineer

They are seeking experienced Production Engineer to join their team at Ingleburn NSW.
Primary Duties:As a Production Engineer you will provide engineering and technical support and carry out the projects from design through to the commissioning and handover. You will however have a varied role working with Supagas’ technical and operation teams as well as site contractors on other projects

Manage engineering projects across the entire project life cycle, including scoping, planning and design documents, risk assessments, contract management, and close-outDevelopment of technical project documentation, such as site layouts, P&IDs, equipment general arrangement plans (GA`s) functional descriptions, equipment lists, datasheets and other application design documents to ensure suitability and compliance
Participate in various building and gas system designs
Specification review to develop project scope and customer requirements
Manage and co-coordinate contractors across multiple work fronts and disciplines
Procurement of materials and services and ongoing interaction with suppliers
Communication with customers as directed by the project manager
Pre-planning & resource forecasting
Develop and maintain construction/ installation schedule
Cost tracking; managing budgets and forecasts
Liaise with the internal stakeholders, community, council and service authorities
Complete site inspections as required.
Generate SWMS’ when required
Other duties as requested from time to time
Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor Degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years in a technical hands-on installations role (if only trade qualified)
Preferred SkillsSound knowledge of construction, LPG and Industrial gas properties, pipeline and vessel installations, regulatory matters and standards
Sound working knowledge of construction, GA drawings, P&ID’s
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software packages
Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills
General understanding of construction, gases, bulk installations, gas production and cylinder filling
