• $75000.00 - $85000.00 per annum plus Super

The position will require someone who is a team player with a “can do” attitude as well as being flexible with regard to overtime and weekend work.

• Read and interpret readings/measurements on relevant equipment and technical drawings.
• Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance of machines.
• Use of hand-, power-, hydraulic and machining tools.
• Use of gas cutting and arc welding equipment.
• Fabricate and weld metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments to check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit.
• Erect machines and equipment on-site.
• Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Maintain rotating equipment.
• Repair and maintain heat exchangers and coolers.
• Maintain mechanical valves and mechanical seals.
• Repair and replace process filters and strainers.
• Maintain indirect drives (V-belt, chain and flat belt drives).
• Maintain bearings and repack glans.
• Maintain pipe systems.
• Maintain conveyor systems.

• Trade Qualification mandatory for the fitter position.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety.
• Be able to work in a multi-skilled team environment.
• Physically fit and willing to learn.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and working at heights.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to follow WHS requirements and standards.
