Emerald Hospital provides a range of hospital and visiting specialist services to the Emerald and Central Highlands region. Our vision, outlined in our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy is for Emerald Hospital to be the Central Highlands hub for emergency, maternity, diagnostic and some surgical services.
We will invest in Telehealth technology to provide local access to services wherever possible.
About the role:To provide a high standard of administrative support to all functional areas within the Health Facility. Respond to all enquiries and provide information, assistance and promote good public relations to staff, patients, and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery with the Emerald Hospital.
Contribute to patient flow by performing a support role to nursing and medical staff. The role of this position is to provide timely and accurate information to staff, clients, and the public where appropriate.
About you:
- Proficiency in the use of computerised clinical information systems and databases.
- Demonstrated sound numerical filing skills e.g. Using Terminal Digit Filing System.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and flexible in managing workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage an extremely physically active workload, including frequent use of ladders and push/pulling of trolleys.
Total remuneration value of up to $19,531 p.a is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
