With a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled ICT Customer Support Officer to join our team.
Position Overview

The ICT Customer Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining ICT systems for our clients. This role involves assisting with the installation and maintenance of business communication systems, ensuring network and VoIP infrastructure runs smoothly, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for telephone systems, VoIP solutions, networking equipment, and structured data/voice cabling.
Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical faults efficiently.
Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining ICT hardware and software solutions.
Diagnose network issues, identify solutions, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Conduct routine system checks and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Document all support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions.
Collaborate with the technical team to improve system performance and enhance service delivery.

Provide user training and guidance on ICT systems and best practices.

Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

Minimum AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Electronics, ICT, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience as an ICT Customer Support Officer or a relevant technical support role.
Strong knowledge of VoIP systems, networking hardware, and structured cabling solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving ICT system issues.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of ICT security best practices is a plus.
