Oral Health Therapist - Senior (Team Leader)
The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Oral Health Therapist - Senior (Team Leader) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will
- Demonstrate high level clinical expertise to provide clinical leadership and be a reference point within a team
- Actively contribute to service and caseload management and planning within the team
- Work cooperatively and effectively within teams, patients, their families, community groups, other health professionals, supervisors and students
- Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Oral Health from a recognised tertiary institution is a requirement of this role
- AHPRA Registration
- Possession of an appropriate User License issued under the Queensland Radiation Safety Act 1999
- Drivers Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Temporary full time
- Base salary ranging from $4 912.70 - $5 286.40 per fortnight
