Front End Developer (also known as Front End Engineer, Web Developer, Front End Software Developer, Software Developer, CSS Developer, HTML Developer, Programmer, Software Engineer)

The purpose of the Front End Developer is to be a hands-on developer working in a cross discipline team to deliver the front-end portion of websites & web applications. Collaborating with other engineers (front-end & back-end), creatives, and clients, the front-end developer may implement web experiences via working in front-end workflows within a project team of technical & non-technical members to help drive business outcomes for our clients.

Working closely with UX designers to translate wireframes, this role also requires maintenance & management of frontend libraries alongside the building, testing & deployment of code.
This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification. Worked in software engineering roles focussed on front-end development for 4+ years.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Proficiency in reactive front-end experiences using ReactJS and/or VueJS.
  • Experience building canvas applications.
  • Working knowledge of application performance parameters as well as the ability to assess and optimize them.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $85K – 105K package

Senior Front End Developer

We are on the hunt for a Senior Front End Developer to be a hands-on developer working with cross discipline teams to deliver the front-end portion of websites & web applications. Leading a team of engineers (front-end & back-end) while working closely with other creative teams and clients, the Senior Front-End Developer is responsible for building & maintaining various features as per clients’ requirements.

This may include the implementation of web experiences via working in front-end workflows within a project team of technical & non-technical members to help drive business outcomes for our clients.

Working closely with UX designers to translate wireframes, this role also requires maintenance & management of frontend libraries alongside the building, testing & deployment of code.
This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification. Worked in software engineering roles focussed on front-end development for 6+ years.

Back End Developer (also known as Web Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer, Software Developer, Back-End Software engineer)
The Back End Developer is an analytical, goal-oriented person who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve existing back-end applications and processes. Using their understanding of programming languages and tools, the Back End Developer will analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes & solve problems, to create a more seamless experience for users.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, computer, and project management skills.

The role will involve: compiling and analysing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement, collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and enable the design to be more functional, implementing cohesive codes where necessary to enhance the user experience.

The back end developer will also be responsible for developing ideas for new programs, features or products via research & monitoring of industry trends.

To succeed as a backend developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification in computer programming, computer science or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification, but also ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP, or Python, and operating systems may be required. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools; be focused on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement and also have excellent project and time management skills.
