Premium Pizza Pty Ltd ATD PGN Family Trust 3 is part of the Nirav Group of companies who is the founder of the group also acting as General Manager of the group. Nirav Patel Group is a dynamic and growing hospitality group that operates under a single umbrella, bringing together three distinct businesses: two full-service dine-in restaurants and four Romano’s Pizzeria outlets, with additional 2-3 pizzeria locations in the pipeline.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to oversee the financial management and operations of the group. This role requires a professional with expertise in handling multi-business financials within the hospitality industry, capable of managing diverse responsibilities across the group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial policies, consolidating financial statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategies for new ventures, monitoring operational costs, and providing critical insights to support the group’s growth and profitability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of an Accountant:

Develop and implement budgetary and accounting policies specific to the food and beverage industry, ensuring alignment with the financial goals of the group.

Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, with detailed presentations for directors, senior management, shareholders, and statutory bodies.

Conduct financial investigations across the group, prepare reports, and perform audits to provide insights into key financial areas such as mergers, acquisitions of new outlets, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency, and taxation.

Analyse income, expenditure, and operating costs for each business unit (pizzerias and restaurants) to improve financial efficiency and profitability.

Provide assurance on the accuracy and compliance of financial reports with statutory and industry-specific regulatory requirements.

Offer strategic financial and taxation advice on business structures, expansion plans, and the operations of the group.

Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for all entities within the group, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and maximising tax efficiencies.

Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to secure funding arrangements for new ventures, renovations, or expansions within the group.

Implement and maintain accounting systems tailored to restaurant operations, including the selection and integration of point-of-sale (POS) systems with computerised accounting solutions.

Establish and manage robust internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud across all business units.

Evaluate cash flow management and assess financial risks for new restaurant openings, renovations, or major capital investments.

Monitor financial performance trends of each entity within the group to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimisation.

Prepare forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making for the group’s long-term success.

Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of daily sales, inventory, and expenses across all outlets within the group.

Provide tailored reporting and financial insights to inform pricing strategies, menu costings, and marketing campaigns for the group’s restaurants and pizzerias.
