Business Analyst - Data Risk
In this role as a Business Analyst, you will be crucial in advancing several projects within the Risk Transformation Program. You'll work in a dynamic environment that intersects with various other transformation efforts, engaging with senior stakeholders throughout the process.
The ideal candidate brings an understanding of the financial services space, as well as prior exposure to the risk / regulated risk environments. Besides strong core business analysis skills, a minimum of 3 years of experience in large corporate environments is desired, with great communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
What you will do- Act as the main bridge between stakeholders from the areas of Op Risk / Data Management / Governance; collaborate with the business to evaluate business needs and create specifications for any modifications or additions to technology applications and/or business procedures
- Engage in research, interviews, and workshops to understand business needs and convert them into detailed epics/stories
- Evaluate and organise information to resolve discrepancies and gather requirements
- Work across many different projects with the Risk Transformation Program, assisting each area as they need
- Convert requirements into user stories
- Experience in the financial services space is strongly desired, ideally within the risk/regulated risk space
- Experience across large transformations in the banking/finance space (min. 2+ years)
- Experience with data risk across areas specific but not limited to cyber, security, privacy, and compliance
- Exposure to data management and data mapping skills
- Exposure to working through strategies to mitigate data risk
- Excellent Business Analyst skill-set including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
There is a high preference for BA experience with a focus on data risk and those profiles will be prioritised.
