Fineweld Stainless Steel produce custom-made stainless steel products for applications to suit for Food, Pharmaceutical and Dairy Industries and Allied Industries. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Welder/Metal Fabricator to join their team in Carrum Downs VIC 3201.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Interpreting drawings, specifications and engineering plans
• Fabricating sections and components from sheet metal, pipes, wood, fibreglass and other materials
• Welding, screwing, riveting and bolting components together to form finished products
• Cutting, shaping and grinding sheet metal and plastic to create panels
• Carrying out alterations to chassis in accordance with engineering specifications
• Experienced in the use of MIG, TIG and ARC welding
• Experienced in using different types of metals
• Ability to weld in horizontal and vertical positions

Skills & Abilities:

• Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
