Context:
The Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Design/Construction Manager to lead and manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and construction activities within transport infrastructure (motorway and rail) projects in various locations across Australia.
Missions/Main Duties:
- Lead and manage the M&E design and construction activities across multiple transport infrastructure (road and rail) projects.
- Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Oversee procurement and installation of M&E systems, including electrical power distribution, lighting, HVAC, and communications.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality assurance requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to M&E design and construction.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.

- Minimum7 years experience working in the Mechanical and Electrical space on major road/tunnel projects and have at least 5 years relevant management experience.
- Extensive experience in M&E design and construction management within the transport infrastructure (road and rail) sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering transport infrastructure (road and rail) projects in Australia.
- Strong understanding of Australian transport infrastructure (road and rail) industry standards.
- Experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to transport infrastructure (road and rail) construction.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software.
