Graduate Program Manager, Supply Chain
You’ll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of the supply chain, working alongside industry experts and contributing to real-world projects.
Throughout the two-year program, you will rotate through different departments such as inventory management, procurement, transportation, fulfillment, and demand forecasting. This rotational structure will give you a broad understanding of Amazon’s supply chain and provide you with the foundation to build a successful career in supply chain management.By the end of the program, you’ll be well-prepared to take on a leadership role within Amazon’s network.
Key job responsibilities
Supply Chain Operations:- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Amazon’s supply chain processes, from procurement to logistics and fulfillment.
- Support daily operations to ensure products are delivered to customers efficiently and on time.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex supply chain challenges and optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to forecast product demand, ensuring inventory levels meet customer needs without overstocking.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal patterns to predict future demand.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend adjustments to inventory and supply chain strategies that improve customer satisfaction and minimize costs.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor and improve supply chain performance, identifying trends and inefficiencies.
- Create reports and dashboards that provide visibility into supply chain metrics and key performance indicators.
- Lead or contribute to key supply chain projects that drive innovation and improve operational performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to implement new solutions and process improvements.
- Participate in leadership and professional development opportunities, including mentoring from senior leaders.
- Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate leadership potential by proactively identifying and solving problems.
- Bachelor’s degree (or soon to be completed) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to different roles and challenges during the program.
- Internship or work experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or demand forecasting.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
