Sydney - Part- Time Chef
Ideally, you will have experience working in a cafe and working alone, as well as part of a small team. The right person will enjoy preparing food from scratch and enjoy a creative environment with a positive culture.
We are looking for a Part Time Chef/Cook to join our team.We are a quality focused cafe with a goal to create house-made menu items and creative dishes. This means we do a lot of our own prep. We are a busy cafe. This means you will have to multi-task, managing prep and service simultaneously.We are open 7 days for breakfast and lunch, and Friday evenings. We are looking to expand our evening offering.Our kitchen staff balance responsibilities of food service, prep and ordering throughout the day. We are a small team so you will be required to work alone at times but also contribute well to a positive working culture when working with others.Requirements:- available for early morning starts (eg 6am)- able to multitask- have a clean and efficient working method- be a positive person with a good ability to manage stress- available weekends and evenings, Sundays a must
