- Diesel Fitter
As a Diesel Fitter, you will maintain, repair, and service heavy machinery, large water pumps, and agricultural equipment. This role involves both workshop-based and field work to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery and pumps.
Conduct inspections and identify issues using diagnostic tools.Collaborate with other mechanics and site managers to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Experience: Trade certification in Diesel Fitting or Mechanical Engineering.
5 years' experience with heavy machinery.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Welder
The Welder role focuses on the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures and equipment. This role supports the farm's infrastructure by maintaining essential frameworks and pipe systems.
Key responsibilities: Fabricate and install metal structures and wide-diameter steel pipework.
Use welding techniques to repair machinery and pipe systems.Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
Skills & Experience: Trade certification in Welding.
5 years' experience in fabrication and welding.Proficiency with welding equipment and power tools.
- Motor Mechanic
The Motor Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles, including tractors, trucks, and Toyota models. This role ensures that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics and repairs on farm vehicles and machinery.
Specialize in maintenance for Toyota vehicles.Work closely with other mechanics to ensure smooth vehicle operations.
Skills & Experience: Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology.
5 years' experience, with a focus on Toyota vehicles.Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
- Diesel Motor Mechanic
The Diesel Motor Mechanic will be responsible for maintenance, repair and service of heavy machinery and agricultural farming equipment. This role includes both workshop-based and in-field servicing work, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and reliably to support the overarching business activity of growing and processing world-class products.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and tests to identify issues and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
Ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance and repair tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
Use diagnostic tools and software to accurately pinpoint mechanical problems and implement effective solutionsSkills & Experience: Trade certification in Mobile Plant Mechanic or similar
5 years' experience with heavy equipment and trucks.
Salary for all roles will be offered hourly rate of $37 to $40, plus superannuation.
