WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our dynamic team.
We are seeking someone who is experienced, passionate, driven and who can lead a team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing menus, calculating food, and procuring food supplies
- Supervising dish quality throughout preparation and presentation
- Consulting with kitchen staff and servers about food preparation matters
- Demonstrating methods and providing guidance on cooking techniques
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Educating on and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
- Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery is essential, and it is preferable to also have completed a Diploma of Hospitality Management.
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a fast pace, high-volume restaurant
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding customer relations
Salary Expectation: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum
