Our esteemed client, Abacus Bar, is expanding their leadership team and currently seeking a motivated and people-focused Recruitment Coordinator. It is a space where quality meets creativity, and behind every great experience is a team carefully selected for their passion, skill, and attitude.The Recruitment Coordinator will work directly with senior leadership to identify, attract, and retain the kind of people who elevate the brand experience.
The annual salary for this position is $74,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation.
Duties include:
- Coordinating the promotion of job openings, including managing advertising channels, conducting interviews and assessments, and supporting the hiring and selection process.
- Updating and maintaining comprehensive personnel records and ensuring accuracy within human resource information systems (HRIS).
- Advising management on workplace relations, organisational policies, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Organising staff onboarding processes, including induction programs and providing detailed information on employment conditions, remuneration, and career progression.
- Receiving and documenting job vacancy requests from department heads or external partners, including role specifications, compensation details, and employment terms.
- Sharing up-to-date job opportunities within the organisation with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
- Facilitating discussions and negotiations around employment terms, and helping to resolve employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
- Interpreting and applying relevant industrial relations legislation, awards, contracts, and dispute resolution frameworks.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of enterprise bargaining agreements and workplace relations strategies, including performance-based compensation models and employee engagement programs.
- Supporting the establishment and operation of employee consultative committees and initiatives that encourage workforce participation and feedback.
- Collaborating with hiring Managers to forecast workforce needs and proactively build talent pipelines.
- Tracking recruitment metrics and providing regular reporting on hiring performance, candidate experience, and diversity outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Should have at least a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
- Must have at least one to two (1-2) years of experience in a similar setting.
