Architectural Draftsperson

Location: Victoria

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist architects in planning, designing, and organizing residential and commercial projects.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, local building regulations, and codes of practice.
• Prepare and revise preliminary sketches, working drawings, maps, and charts in coordination with the design team.
• Support planning and building permit applications by compiling required documentation.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, and consultants for effective coordination of design and construction processes.
• Conduct site visits to gather data, perform measurements, and inspect work and materials for compliance with plans and standards.
• Estimate project costs and timelines based on preliminary data and design complexity.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, digital records, and drawing archives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in coordinating works programs and ensuring that documentation aligns with project scheduling and milestones.

• Diploma or relevant qualification in civil or Architectural Drafting
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Good understanding of BCA/NCC and Australian Standards
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
