Full-time Cook | Welcome Hospitality

A bit about us:

Our venues include, The Glenmore Hotel and Billy Barry's Hotel both in Sydney, as well as Moonee Beach Hotel, Toormina Hotel and Sawtell Hotel in Coffs Harbour

We are looking for full-time Cooks.

• Ensure every meal served is of consistent and high quality and is prepared to Welcome Hospitality's specific recipes
• Implement and adhere to directives from the kitchen management team
• Effectively and efficiently manage your section and staff – mise-en-place, ordering and cleanliness
• Provide support and training to junior Cooks and kitchen hands, working always as a team
• Ensure a safe working environment and adheres to WH&S and Food Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Adhere to all Welcome Hospitality's policies and procedures
• Maintain and exceed industry standards in all areas of food service and experience.
• Attend and actively participate in kitchen meetings.

• Relevant Qualifications - Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for excellent quality food, produce and service
• Be reliable, punctual and hard workings
• Have strong communication skills
• Be able to maintain kitchen procedures and WHS standards
• Have sound knowledge of food, health & safety
• Available to work a mix of weekends & nights
• Have Australian working rights
• Able to work Full time - 38hrs/week

Salary from $75,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
