The Role

The role will suit a skilled and analytical individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is confident in delivering accurate reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting tools for internal use and client reporting
  • Analyse and interpret financial performance and provide strategic advice to improve cost efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, and compliance documents
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances
  • Assist with internal financial controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
  • Liaise with clients to support their management accounting needs, including financial modelling and business planning
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and prepare reports to guide client investment decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and reporting tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (AQF Level 7 or above)
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience (management accounting experience highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards and tax compliance in Australia
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar accounting software, and advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
  • Australian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with full working rights are encouraged to apply

Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 per year

Hours: 38 hours (Full Time)
