Senior Engineer (Structural)
Witt Consulting is looking for a Senior Design Engineer with demonstrated design experience in temporary works.
The role will involve helping our client’s deliver projects and is suited to an experienced design engineer who loves to lead and enjoys working directly with clients. You will need to be able to get on with people, understand their problem and offer solutions that fit their needs.
Duties
Liaise with clients to develop and design temporary works solutionsPrepare, review and approve fee proposalsProduce clearly expressed and well-presented adviceReview engineering outputs of others, including peer reviewManage and train other engineers
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold a relevant degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 5+ years of experience in design consultancy1 or more years' experience in AustraliaAustralian permanent work rightsDrivers' licenseWhite cardHas or working towards CPEng and can demonstrate achievement against Engineers Australia (2012) Australian Engineering Competency Standards Stage 2 – Experienced Professional EngineerDemonstrated experience in Temporary Works solutions (working platform, shoring, underground services, scaffolding, retained solutions, formwork & falsework and lifting analysis)Strong capability in numerical modelling, calculations, and analysisDemonstrated working knowledge of design software and modelling tools including AutoCADGood understanding of Australian Design StandardsChartered or working towards Chartership with Engineers Australia
The salary is $108,000 - $109,000 ex super.
