Chef

Job Description: An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Chef to manage kitchen operations and deliver high-quality cuisine.

• Planning and designing menus appropriate for aged care residents
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard
• Catering for special dietary and texture modified requirements
• Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP, WHS, and infection control standards
• Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment standards

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, or institutional catering
• Ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• High standards of cleanliness and organisation

Salary Range: AUD 77,000 – 90,000 per annum
